"You can't make everyone happy. You aren't a jar of peanut butter.'"
After testing dozens of recipes (it got to the point where I had to start prying family members mouths open to shove cookies in) and getting feedback like "my grandma's were better... not peanut buttery enough... too dry... too crumbly... too sandy... too soft... good.... and pretty good" I felt like giving up. "Pretty good" is not part of my vocabulary. They say a great peanut butter cookie can only be made with Jif or Skippy. Enter Cream-Nut peanut butter (go Michigan!) I finally heard the words I had been waiting for... "they are perfect!!!" Music to my ears.
